RADAC - Amazing river fishing in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Enjoy over ten miles of stunning game fishing on the upper reaches of the beautiful river Swale.  Set in the dramatic and idyllic scenery of Swaledale and within the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The Reeth and District Angling Club have been organising and coordinating fishing locally for 30 years and has access to 5 separate fishing beats on the river stretching from Muker in the west to Ellerton/Stainton in the east and taking in local places such as Ellerton Abby, Marrick Abbey, Grinton, Healaugh, Low Row, Gunnerside, Satron and Ivelet bridge. Fishing is exclusively for brown trout with fly-fishing being the predominant method, although other catching methods are allowed as directed by the club rules.
