RADAC - Amazing river fishing in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Enjoy over ten miles of stunning Brown Trout fishing on the upper reaches of the beautiful River Swale in North Yorkshire. Set in the idyllic scenery of Swaledale and within the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

The Reeth and District Angling Club have been organising and coordinating fishing locally since 1987. We have access to five separate fishing beats stretching from Muker in the West to Ellerton/Stainton in the East. Access to fishing can be gained from places such as Ellerton Abbey, Marrick Abbey, Grinton, Healaugh, Low Row, Gunnerside, Satron and Ivelet Bridge.

Fishing is exclusively for Brown Trout and fly fishing is the predominant method, although other methods are allowed in certain locations in accordance with club rules.

This website contains all the information you should require in order to enjoy some fabulous fishing on the River Swale. If you do require any additional information, please contact Mr S McCormack, RADAC Secretary, Elmsgate, Mill Hill Lane, Northallerton DL6 1AP or secretary@radac.org
